Hey everyone,
So, yes, it's much closer to the end of May than April now, and I've probably forgotten most of what happened in April, but this newsletter is being written none-the-less.
Wow I used none-the-less in a sentence! I'm impressed with myself, haha, anyway let's keep rolling...
So my April was really wonderful, if you caught my March round up you'll know that I spent most of April back home in Plymouth with my family. I was very lucky and had some really great weather (yup, you read that right, I went to England and the weather was good). So I got to fit in lots of walks and outside time. Plymouth is right on the coast so there's lots of beautiful places to visit.
I spent most of my time doing very low-key family stuff, hanging out with my Mum, Aunt and Nan (my three heroes), playing lots of scrabble, watching the Great British Pottery Throw Down, and eating all the treats I miss over here in Canada.
I did visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan which is this amazing garden in Cornwall that was first founded in 1766, then abandoned after WW2 until the 1990's, when it was rediscovered and restored. It's a really beautiful place to go.
I also celebrated my birthday early at home (Charlotte and Oscar were pretty excited about the cake), and then again when I got back to Canada.
Yes they are six different amazing cakes Stacy got me from Daan Go!!!
And Getting home to Malone was obviously the best part of April.
Tattoo Time
I have been awful at posting on social media for ALL of April, the first three months of this year, I've been doing a solid job and scheduling my posts, and then everything went by the wayside in April 🙃. Hopefully I'll be more on the ball in May...
Hannah
I loooove Hannah's new tattoo addition!!!! We tattooed the outside of her arm in July last year, and she came back to fill up the inside. We added a lil Yin Ying as an homage to her work as an acupuncturist 🥰.

Michelle
Michelle's addition of peaches, blueberries and wood sorrel is super meaningful. It represents her lovely dog, Georgie Peach, who smelt like blueberries and would nudge Michelle just above the back of her knee when she wanted her 🥰.
Crying now.
Ps. we did the sunflowers in 2019

Guest Spot Interlude
I spent a great week back at Tommy Gun Tattoo in Plymouth during my visit home. It's really nice to work in a busy studio with great artists again, it makes a nice change from my private studio. But getting back to the peaceful quiet is also really great.
Emily
Emily sat like an absolute champ for in for this epic piece on my first day at Tommy Gun. I don't often tattoo humans (I tattoos of humans, obv) so I really enjoyed this challenge of representing Emily's inner goddess 🙂. I'm soooo happy with how it came out.
Also isn't her skirt amazing!
More photos here.

Lizzie
Lizzie is building up a patchwork sleeve, and we added these peonies between two of her existing tattoos. So gorgeous!!!

Sophie
We spent a lot of time figuring out the perfect placement for Sophie's new chrysanthemum tattoo, and I looove what we decided on. It moves so great with her knee!
We also did a little peony on the back of her thigh in the same session.

Summer
I was so happy to extend Summer's teacup tattoo that I did during my last guest spot back in November! We added doves, more tea flowers and roses 🥰.

Beckie
I quickly touched up Beckie's ear tattoo!

Lee
So I have tattooed both of Lee's patchwork sleeves, and they look incredible, but every time I see him I manage to take the literal worst photos of his tattoos!
But we finished his left sleeve during this guest spot! We added this squirrel on his bicep and a mouse on the back of his arm, with bluebells, rosemary and dog roses.

Joanne
Jo had been thinking about getting a rose tattoo to memorialize a friend who passed away, and she saw this design in my newsletter 🖤. I'm so happy it was what she was looking for, and I'm in love with the placement she chose 🥰. See this OG sketch here.

Laura
I did Laura’s first tattoo in April, which is one of 40 things she’s doing before she turns 40!

In Other News
While I was home I did this 'cover-up' on my SIL's guitar 🥰
Thanks for reading!
May's newsletter will be out soon 😂.
Thanks,
